Hi, as you all may have noticed, I have been somewhat out of touch with creating and sharing social media content throughout this year. However, that is set to change!
Over 14 years in the furniture industry, I first worked for a local traditional furniture company and then moved over to a bespoke joinery firm with my knowledge that company evolved into a high-end furniture company. I mastered skills in traditional hardwood furniture, creating items from door wedges and stools to sideboards, chests of drawers, dressers, and grandfather clocks. At the second company, I produced joinery items including bi-fold and stable doors, heritage box sash windows, and other domestic joinery. I leveraged these experiences to create free-standing veneered furniture, bespoke high-end kitchens, utilities, dressing rooms, bathroom vanities, bars, and more, both locally and abroad.
At the beginning of October 2023, I took the significant leap into working full-time for my company that I started in 2012 ‘P R Woodward Cabinet Makers’. This decision is both incredibly exciting and somewhat daunting, yet immensely rewarding. My very first project was a stunning oak staircase for the prestigious ‘Manor House’ project, which was successfully completed in January 2024. Following this, I successfully transitioned into the exciting process of expanding my extensive catalogue of furniture, while simultaneously taking on the intricate task of designing the next meticulously considered addition to the ‘Manor House’ Project—a beautiful, sophisticated cocktail bar that was completed in July 2024.
